Our rental trailers have a total weight that is as adapted as possible to be able to be driven with a B certificate. Check what applies anyway:
If you have a BE certificate, it is the vehicle card that determines how much you can deduct. For example, if it says that the car can pull 1600kg, the weight of the trailer and the load you have on the trailer cannot exceed 1600kg. (This is the current weight and not what is referred to as the permissible total weight, which applies. A trailer can therefore have a total weight of 3000kg, but can still be pulled with this car which has a limit of 1600kg, if only the trailer and cargo combined do not weigh more than 1600kg!)
If you have a B certificate, the permissible total weight of a car and hanger must not exceed 3500kg. (Car with permissible total weight 2200kg and trailer with permissible total weight 1300kg goes well!)
With a B96 certificate, the permissible total weight of the car and hanger combined must not exceed 4250kg. (Car with permissible total weight 1950kg and trailer with permissible total weight 2300kg goes fine!)
The trailer is insured for a user fee of NOK 5000. When the trailer is connected to the car, the vehicle’s liability insurance applies.

The trailer can be used in Sweden and Denmark on the car’s insurance. When driving in other countries, contact the tractor’s insurance company. Get confirmation by e-mail.
The driver of the car is responsible for ensuring that the trailer is in proper condition. Check that:
– support wheels are cranked all the way up
– the trailer is really attached to the sphere!?
– the disaster wire is attached to the car?
– the handbrake is off and the wheels roll freely?
– the power cable is plugged in and all lights are working
